About Us

Mornington Peninsula Youth Enterprises will carryout it's mission by providing a range of education, training and support services to young people from the Mornington Peninsula and surrounding areas.

MPYE recognises that it cannot achieve its mission alone and has a strong commitment to work in partnership with the community, its organisations and government.

Over the last 10 years Mornington Peninsula Youth Enterprises has developed from a small scale backyard youth support service with minimal costs to a larger scale operation with multiple participants, staff, volunteers and cost areas. An elected committee of management is responsible for governance of MYPE and a manager is responsible for day-to-day operations of the services.

The two-hectare work site is located in Mitchell Street Mornington and is leased to Mornington Peninsula Youth Enterprises by Mornington Peninsula Shire.  On the site is located a range of buildings, including office, propagating room, hothouses, training room, woodwork and metal work sheds, tea room and various storage facilities including shipping containers.  Other community groups use the site's facilities, including the Mornington Community Garden which shares the site.

Develop the current worksite to its full potential and develop other worksites as required
